We have been saved not only for ourselves but also for the life of the world. We must seek the flourishing of our communities, using all the tools at our disposal—including politics.
Our love and loyalty should be directed to God and his kingdom. We must evaluate not merely our political beliefs and actions but also the loves and loyalties that motivate them.
Our spiritual and political lives are not separate but are different aspects of our whole life offered as worship to God. Our communal worship and personal practices should lead us to seek justice and live righteous lives.
